Moonshot Grant Recipients Launch Earthbound Communication Satellite to Amplify Voices of Rural Teens

Studio Stream amplifies teen voices and projects them back into their communities. Participants recorded the content of their choosing using our mobile earthbound communication satellite. We drove our rose gold metallic mini-truck to locations in Brownsville, Johnstown and Indiana Pennsylvania during the summer of 2024.

Teens also had the opportunity to learn basic electronics and soldering by building a solar powered bluetooth speaker that can be used to listen to the Studio Stream web-based radio station.

Studio Stream participants had the opportunity to learn basic electronics and soldering by building a solar powered Bluetooth speaker. They kept their speakers to listen to the web-based radio station, or to share with someone else.
