The Future Makers Fund offers seed funding and microloans to encourage the creation or distribution of an original creative product. We provide emerging artists, designers, and entrepreneurs support at the earliest stages of an idea to eliminate the barriers to witnessing the full economic potential of their work.
Seed Award
Supports the creation of a prototype and/or market evaluation of an original creative product. No repayment required. Future Makers Fund Seed Awards are intended to provide unrestricted funding to evaluate the viability of a product at the earliest stage of its development. ($50)
Microloan
Provides vital funding to purchase materials, services, or secure a venue for selling an original creative product. If you need material to bring a prototype to market or additional material to scale an existing product, we can help. Other possible uses of the microloan include funding to pay a registration fee to sell your work at a local festival or fair. (up to $500):
